Help!

We are on day 12 now; which means, 12 days of sleepless nights, 12 days of sore nipples (I know, T.M.I.), 12 days of poopy diapers just as fast as I can change em', and of course 12 days of kissing a cute little baby.

I don't feel like I was properly warned. This Mom stuff is difficult! The breastfeeding has been the most difficult thing for me. She has a very hard time latching on. Which stresses me out which makes her even more upset. If anyone has some tips for me, please let me know. The lactation nurse at the hospital said not to give her a binky or bottle for at least two weeks, but longer if possible. What have you Mothers done with your babies?

She's Here!!!

Annie was born on August 19th at 4:28 am. She weighed 7lbs 11 ounces and was 21 inches long. We are so happy to have her here. These are a few pictures that we already had; they'll be more to come.

Update

Well, the race is still going. My sister is still waiting, not so patiently, and I have been dilated to a 1 and thinned 50% now for two weeks. The Doctor is going to strip my membranes tomorrow.... if I let him. We are so excited but we also realize that she doesn't cry in the night yet, and wonder if we really want to rush sleep deprivation. I will let you know when our little sweetheart gets here.
