Double Stuffed Deliciousness!!!

Why can I NOT get these delicious cookies out of my mind lately? Last Saturday Ben and I couldn't agree on a treat. He wanted Grasshopper cookies (good but not as good), as you can imagine, I wanted Oreos. So we agreed to disagree and get both. Bad idea. Without the help of Ben I had MY cookies gone by Sunday afternoon with no one but my self to blame. WORTH IT!!!
Well the weekend has come around once again :)

Easter
For Easter this year we went with my sister and her family and my Mom on a picnic. We went to Gunlock and couldn't find a picnic table so we went to the Rodeo grounds and sat on the bleachers. We ate hot dogs and then my Mom talked us into having relay races boys against girls and Ben and my bro-in-law had to run holding their baby. Can you say "shaken baby syndrome"(poor babies). It was pretty funny to watch all of us.
What's the big deal... it's only been 4 months!
Here's to all of you who didn't remove me from your list of friends. Way to go!
You're probably expecting me to have some amazing and elaborate post to make up for lost time, but I don't. In fact not a lot has changed. Annie has progressed a lot but as far as Ben and I we are pretty well doing the same ole' things; which is great!
At 6 months Annie learned to crawl. It's so darn cute!

I'M A THUMBSUCKER!!!
Well, you read it. She LOVES her thumb. At first I was so against it, thinking about how if she continued when she got teeth she would possibly need orthodontic work and what if she grew to love the taste of chili powder on her thumb and she turns four years old and is still sucking away. BUT.... now I have a different outlook on the whole thing. When she wakes up in the night she sucks it to soothe herself and will fall back to sleep. No need for Mom anymore at 3am, she's got thumpkin.

Jubilee of Trees
About a week ago my Mother-in-law, my sister-in-law, and myself went and saw the Jubilee of Trees. For those of you that aren't around here, it's a festival that you can go and see tons of magnificent trees that people have decorated and donated to help the Jubilee House. Most all of the trees have some sort of theme. These two were a couple of my favorites and I also loved one that was a Candyland theme. It was fun going and got us in the Christmas mood!
