Update

Well, the race is still going. My sister is still waiting, not so patiently, and I have been dilated to a 1 and thinned 50% now for two weeks. The Doctor is going to strip my membranes tomorrow.... if I let him. We are so excited but we also realize that she doesn't cry in the night yet, and wonder if we really want to rush sleep deprivation. I will let you know when our little sweetheart gets here.

Yeah, have fun with that... it's unpleasant, I'm going to tell you that right now.

My doctor did that and I went into labor that night, most people say it is really uncomfortable but I didn't notice he was even doing anything... And yes enjoy your last time sleeping in. Good luck at whatever you decide. Can't wait to see pictures...

Oh man! We can't wait to see what little Annie looks like! I hope all goes well! Maybe she'll wait to come till Saturday - then Annie and Katelyn can share a birthday! (i hope not! - for your sake!)

Thanks for the update! I will be thinking about you and can't wait to hear when she comes!! Holly cow I remember when you just barely told me and Rachel on her couch at her house that you were pregnant...and she's almost here already...wish my pregnancy was going that fast :) Good luck and we'll look forward to the good news!!

I had my membranes stripped and I didn't feel a thing...and nothing happened. Our little one was too comfortable to want to come out, I guess! Hopefully Annie won't make you wait too long! Good luck and keep us informed! Oh, and all the sleep in the world before the baby comes won't help, you'll still feel like you haven't slept in years. Really enjoy your last full nights of sleep just for the fond memories later down the road, though.

Kim,

Congrats!!! I saw little Annie on Graham and Kate's blog. She is such a doll. I love the double chin. Jocelyn has about 4 rolls and whenever she isn't eating very good I threaten her that she just might loose one of her chins. Annie is beautiful and I can't wait to come to St. George to see her. Also, when you are up in the middle of the night know I'm probably up too!
