Well, you read it. She LOVES her thumb. At first I was so against it, thinking about how if she continued when she got teeth she would possibly need orthodontic work and what if she grew to love the taste of chili powder on her thumb and she turns four years old and is still sucking away. BUT.... now I have a different outlook on the whole thing. When she wakes up in the night she sucks it to soothe herself and will fall back to sleep. No need for Mom anymore at 3am, she's got thumpkin.

Right about now I wish Ella was a thumbsucker. I'm loving her huge smile - it makes me smile.
My girl is a thumb sucker too, however she only sucks it at bed and nap time... Yeah! I think it totally beats the binky you never have to find the thumb it's right there, and hey there are worse things then braces... She is so cute and growing so fast...
Told ya I am a blog stalker! I love those pictures of her, she is so dang cute and getting so big.
She is too cute! I'm glad you're getting more sleep these days thanks to thumpkin. You crack me up Kim.
Oh, so way cute...i always wanted a thumb sucker because none of my kids ever slept....who cares about ortho later! :)
I love those pictures! She is adorable thumb sucking and all what a little cutie!
Oh what a blessing! Did you do anything to encourage the thumb? Jocelyn has no self soothing techniques at all. What a cutie she is!
Oh thumbsuckers are the best! Until they are almost 4 and still won't quit (which is what we're dealing with now). Thanks so much for letting us use your house the other night. We had so much fun and we'll definately have to do it more often. It was so fun getting to know you! And cute little Annie is darling!
and there is always Braces! BTW, I'm friends with Alleen and I love thumbsuckers...
Oh I love that kid! Her smile is SOO cute! :)
She is so cute! Thumbsucking doesn't sound too bad, and she looks cute doing it! Ellie is just addicted to her binkie so thats going to be fun to get rid of. It's way nice when they have something to sooth themselves with, but now I don't know how we are going to get rid of the binkie and she is getting a bit too old!
Let her suck her thumb...she might need orthodontics, even if she wasn't a thumb sucker. If it allows you to get more sleep, DO IT! How are you guys? I need to get your address to send you a Christmas card, on my blog is my email address (I finally updated it).
Time to update the blog Kim! Will we see you in Alpine this weekend?
